I had a mole removed and the report came back saying the mole was "moderate to severe cytologic atypia". This mole appeared in the last teo years after i did ivf for 3 times. My body is full of moles and some come and some i was born with. I do not tan and i am very modest in my clothes under the sun. I barely sit in the sun but i dont use sunblocks.

Severe cytological atypia explains that the cells has significant changes from normal organized cell that should be considered precancerous. This means to you is that the mole needs to be removed surgically and examined so as to get the whole mole (Free margins). This is done surgically and not by destroying the mole with any method. This is true for any mole to be removed.Also you should have a Dermatologist see you on a yearly , some times every 6 months basis to examine the entire skin. Suspicious moles , changing moles, and new moles should be surgically removed.You dentist needs to be aware of any pigmented area in the mouth. Also your GYN needs to tell you and possibly remove any pigmented area.
