Is it okay to sleep on my back after a BBL or do I have to remain on my stomach? (Photos)

Thank you for your question! I recommend staying off of the areas that fat was transferred to as much as possible. If your surgeon transferred fat to your hips and buttocks, it is best to lay on your stomach to avoid compressing the areas, for the first 10 days post surgery. Then I recommend using a “booty buddy” pillow to sit on for 3 weeks, which also keeps pressure off of your buttocks/hips. I hope this helps!

You need to avoid putting pressure directly on your buttocks for at least 2 weeks, so sleeping on your sides and front is best.

Great Question!We advise our patients to avoid sitting and sleeping on their back for the first few weeks after having the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure. This is to ensure the contour created stays and doesn't cause any flat spots where the fat is trying to adhere to. Following the recommendations of your surgeon is very important. The recovery takes around 4 to 6 weeks, the position to sleep on your back can be done after 2 weeks,  you must perform lymphatic drainage massages, for me more, and you can continue your normal activities, perform light exercises, then increase the routine without any problem.

The total recovery of the procedure takes from 6 months to a year, it is advisable to wait 6 months between each surgery, to avoid risks, your surgery is very recent, have a lot of patience.
