What are ideal measurements to lift a nipple? My measurements are 20 o each nipple center and from breast fold 5.5. Can I do an breastfold incision with no worries of low nipples? Or should I have my nipples raised? Also what is the change is loss of sensibility as the nipple will be cut at the top. Left breast 20 grams smaller- should I get 2 different sizes- 345 and 365cc or same size? What are the differnce in Natrelle Responsive and Soft Touch-ProCons?
Answer: What are ideal measurements to lift a nipple? Can I achieve an symmetrical nipple with breastfold incision. Thank you for the question and picture. Based on your photograph, you are starting at a great place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. Although it is not possible to give you precise advice based on the single photograph, I do not think that breast lifting or “lifting a nipple” will be necessary. In regards to specific size/profile of breast implant, despite good intentions, online consultants will not be able to provide you with meaningful specific advice. Ultimately, in person consultation with well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons will be necessary. Careful measurements, dimensional planning, and careful communication will be key. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Again, have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining which operation and/or breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C or D cup" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. The use of computer imaging may be very helpful during this communication phase. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery. The use of temporary intraoperative sizers, viewing the patient's breasts in the upright and supine position, are very helpful during the breast implant selection process. I hope this, and the attached link, helps.

Answer: Ideal nipple position with breast augmentation There are 2 general guidelines about nipple position: They should be centered on the breast mound, which relates to the inframammary fold, and usually this lines up with the midpoint of the upper arm. The fold to nipple distance is one of the factors that determines the optimal implant diameter. It sounds like you are describing the possible use of the crescent lift, which removes a small piece of skin along the upper edge of the areola in order to elevate the nipple. This should have no effect on nipple sensation. Your surgeon will recommend the best way to deal with the asymmetry; sometimes different implants are the best way, sometimes a slight reduction on the larger side and the same implants.

Answer: Breast augmentation questions The ideal measurements are certainly ranges. Your nipple to sternal notch distance of 20 cm is within the normal range. Your distance from the IMF to the nipple of 5.5 cm is satisfactory since it will stretch with an implant. In essence you are a good candidate for a breast augmentation and should get a nice result.

Answer: Breast augmentation Each person is slightly different. Nipple position is based upon the relationship to the fold and the position of the breast mound as well. Other views would be necessary.

Answer: A breast lift is not needed Based on your photos, you will do well with having only breast implants placed. Your nipples are in good position and the augmentation will fill the breast enough to make the areola appear centered and in good position. Loss of sensation should really not be a factor and incision can be below the breast fold. Good luck. I think you will have a great result.
