I wonder if I've damaged my aligners...?

I have developed a bad habit of bending my aligners - as in squeezing the two sides of the 'U' shap together, not especially hard or for more than a few seconds at a time.  The braces appear to have sprung straight back to their normal position and seem to look and fit as before.  Should they be ok?

Depending on the position of the attachment on the tooth it is possible for it to interfere with full closure while it stays on the tooth. Most of the materials used for the attachments are much weaker than your teeth so the worst case scenario would be you wearing down the attachment itself....

I have never heard any of my patients report that their attachments taste sour. When they are placed an acid solution is placed but that is rinsed off. Not sure what the issue can be.

This will not have a great effect on your treatment, however you maybe a day behind throughout the rest of your treatment. If your second set fits in 4 days great, but do not make a habit of forgetting. YOu may not be as luck further into your treatment.
