I forgot to wear my first tray of invisalign aligners for 10 hours on one day. Will this have a dire effect on my end result?

I am on my first set of invisalign aligners. I know that it is important to keep on the aligners for 22 hours a day. Yesterday I went out and forgot my aligners at home, so I went almost 10 hours without them. I have 4 more days before I move to set #2. Will this affect my end result if I never break the rules again. I feel so bad and worried about it, that I promised myself I wouldn't do it again.

This will not have a great effect on your treatment, however you maybe a day behind throughout the rest of your treatment. If your second set fits in 4 days great, but do not make a habit of forgetting. YOu may not be as luck further into your treatment.

it will have a ripple effect on the fitting of your other Aligners . The second one will barely fit; then the Teeth stop tracking the Aligners. So I would go back and wear your Aligners 22 hours a day for two weeks then change to the next Aligners. You will save time in the long run

Like you said, try not to do it again. It won't have any dire effects. You might want to wear the 1st aligner for 1 extra day before switching to #2. Just delay your schedule by 1 day. If that is impossible, then just go to aligner #2 as scheduled and have your dentist check the fit before going on to aligner #3.
