You have answered your own question. You must leave the wound to heal by itself with a scab and allow this to drop off in time. What you are doing is irritating the wound, removing all the healing cells, potentially intruducing infection each time you do this and ending up with a deeper...

The best method can be determined by a formal examination of the mole. Generally shave excision is far more accurate than laser excision which is not as predicatable.
