Indented forehead scar from mole removal 9 months ago, what can be done?

The good news is that there are many different procedures that can be done to improve the indented scar depending on your budget and how much improvement you want. From the non invasive end, you can have filler and subincision performed to lift the indented area. Some patients prefer to have the scar revised surgically. Both are good options, often times I will perform the non invasive treatment first with the subincision and filler to see how much improvement I can get from that most of the time I have excellent results with this alone without further intervention. However, sometimes I just need to revise the scar surgically. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Thanks for sharing your photo.  Fortunately there are many treatments available to help improve scars.  A depressed scar can be treated with a needle subcision to break up the scar and then filled with dermal filler to create a flatter appearance.  I would also recommend injecting the area with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) to help the depression fill in permanently.  More than one treatment may be needed for the best result.
