Small bump on bridge of nose. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your question.I'm unsure if you have had a rhinoplasty and are talking about a postoperative concern, or just a concern about your nose in general.  If it's the latter, many people have small bumps/irregularities and it is usually nothing to be concerned about.If the bump is enlarging, changing, affects the appearance of your nose, or in general is simply bothersome to you, I recommend visiting with a well-trained surgeon that has experience with rhinoplasty for an evaluation.  Good luck!

Have you had a rhinoplasty?  Are you looking for a rhinoplasty?  If you are simply saying that you have a bump, then that puts you in the same camp as 1/2 of the American population.

 A full set of photographs are required to make any determination about what may be required, since the nose is a three-dimensional structure. A dorsal hump is composed of both bone and cartilage and it must be shaved down in order to remove it. A very small bump can be shaved down, but when a moderate to large bump is removed, an open roof is created, and osteotomies of the nasal bones are then required. Many people have bumps on their nose. It sounds like you are concerned if the bump on your nose is something to worry about (cyst, cancer, etc.). That's really hard to say without seeing the bump. If this is a cosmetic concern instead, there are certainly option, from nonsurgical rhinoplasty to surgical corrections to make your nose look better.
