Having a mini arm lift, armpit incision and bbl (considering a medial thigh lift at the same time or wait until my second round bbl?). Is it ok to sleep on my stomach after a mini arm lift?
Answer: Post op Every surgeon has a different set of post operative instructions so it's always best to discuss with your surgeon and follow their advice. With that said, it should be fine to sleep on your stomach. If you're going to sleep with your arms extended and over your head it might feel tight and not idea for the first few weeks. It's preferable to sleep with your arms at your side. Not sure if you'd be comfortable in this position on your stomach.

Answer: Arm Lift, BBL, Arm Reduction, Brazilian Buttock Lift, Fat Transfer to the buttock Thank you for your question regarding the feasibility of having a mini arm lift, or crescent arm lift, in conjunction with a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), and whether you can sleep on your stomach after these procedures. Yes, you can have a mini arm lift combined with a BBL. The crescent arm lift typically takes about 2 to 3 hours to perform under general anesthesia and can be done alongside a BBL. However, it's crucial to consider recovery protocols post-surgery. After a mini arm lift, it is important to keep your arms by your side for approximately three weeks. Raising your arms or opening your armpits can stretch and potentially tear the incision, leading to complications. Regarding sleeping positions, it is possible to lie on your stomach after the surgery as long as your arms remain by your side. This position is compatible with the recovery requirements of both a mini arm lift and a BBL. However, avoid placing your arms over your shoulders for the first three weeks following the procedure. I would advise against combining a medium thigh lift with a mini arm lift. Managing recovery from both procedures simultaneously can be challenging, particularly activities like getting out of bed, walking, self-cleaning, and managing garments. If you are considering both a thigh lift and a mini arm lift, plastic surgeons generally recommend separating these procedures. I hope this answers your questions about combining a mini arm lift with a BBL, the recovery position afterward, and the advisability of combining a thigh lift with a mini arm lift. Wishing you the best in your decision-making process and a smooth recovery. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Sleeping positions post surgery. Thank you for your question! Yes, it is ok for you to sleep on your stomach after having a mini arm lift and BBL, with or without the thigh lift. Laying on your stomach will keep pressure off of your buttocks, which is recommended post surgery. I recommend discussing specific rules and recommendations with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
