Is this normal for microneedling? 3 days post-op. (photos)

3 days ago I had microneedling done. I woke up the next morning w/whiteheads that progressed throughout the day. This morning I woke up and they are much more agressive; it seems like my swelling and redness is getting worse. The whiteheads itch and sting terribly. I am also drooling and having a hard time talking, eating and drinking. I called my doctor 3 times and she says it is all normal except the drooling but that I probably having an underlying medical condition I should see a doctor for.

It is normal to have redness after microneedling for a few days. This is due to inflammation and histamine release. Hi @Stephhh1. The skin is typically very dry and sensitive after microneedling. I would avoid Tretinoin and Benzoyl Peroxide fo 1 week after microneedling. Best of luck to you, Dr. Nima!
