I am thinking about getting a Brazilian lift butt, but I don't know if I should get a silicon implant or transferring the fat from my liposuction into mu butt.

Answer: Fat transfer versus implants for buttock augmentation To pick one over the other with regard to safety isn't really possible as each carries different risks. The risk of infection with insertion of an implant (which would require removal) is greater than the infectious risk with fat transfer. With regard to permanence of your result, you should achieve that with both but may note fluctuations with the fat transfer (Brazilian Butt Lift, BBL) technique. The size of your implant won't change. Your initial result after a BBL may regress somewhat in the early postoperative period as some of the fat will inevitably not survive the transfer. I think the most imperative question, however, is what is best for your individual physique. Silicone implants do an excellent job of enlarging and reshaping the buttocks, but the remainder of the body is left unchanged. With a BBL you are afforded the very significant advantage of reducing and redefining the waist with liposuction. By reducing the circumference of your waist and increasing the circumference around your hips/butt at the same time, you greatly improve your waist to hip ratio. Bringing this ratio to an "ideal" proportion will give you the feminine, curvy figure that you are likely seeking. However, having a BBL is entirely contingent upon the availability of fat. If you are very thin, it is possible that you may have no option other than an implant-based buttock augmentation. This would mean that you already have petite waist and only need to increase the hip/buttock circumference to get the proportion you desire.

Answer: Butt lift is safer Hi Thanks for the questionA brazilian butt lift is actually when we transfer fat to the buttock. Silicone implants are not typically called a Brazilian Butt Lift. Most plastic surgeons would probably say that fat transfer is safer and more permanent. The complication rate for implants is much higher, and the results do not have as good longevity. Thank you and good luck
