There's no exact weight you need to have this procedure. You just can't be too skinny (you might not have enough fat to work with) or being overweight (you might end up with laxity on the abdominal area). In your specific case, your weight is ok for your height. I hope this answer was helpful.
Hi... thank you for the question... There is not an ideal weight for a BBL procedure, all that is needed is enough fat donor sites, this varies from body to body, repost this with a photo in order to give our specific opinion..
Hello,Thank you for your question. There really is not an ideal weight for a BBL. The ideal patient has a normal range healthy BMI, minimal to no health problems and has adequate fat stores in order to transfer sufficient fat to the buttock.A BBL is a combination of fat transfer from multiple donor site to the buttock along with liposculpting and contouring of the lower back and and hips. Depending on your current appearance you may require a significant amount of fat or a moderate amount. This is very difficult to determine without photos however. At 5'7" and 150lbs you are at a healthy weight for your height. The ideal weight for a BBL is your personal goal weight or even slightly higher in order to ensure sufficient fat is present for the surgery. I recommend meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon who can examine you and with whom you can discuss your personal goals so that you two together can come up with a plan to achieve your body contour desires. Best of Luck!Dr. Rednam
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Your BMI is within the recommended range, but unfortunately, without pictures, it is very difficult to give you a proper answer. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Typically there is not an ideal body weight for a BBL, however there does need to be a sufficient amount of fat where your body will retain the weight. I would suggest a BMI between 28-29, this will put you in a range of being at a weight where your body is likely to maintain the weight post surgery but not put you at risk during surgery by adding to the risk of complications. Posting pictures would give a much better look into an ideal weight for you. Always best to see a board certified plastic surgeon in person for evaluation.Thank you for your question!Melinda Lacerna, MD FACS
Thank you for your question. This does not sound too common to me unless there is some sort of serious infection or problem. Usually, one antibiotic is prescribed along with pain medications, stool softener, and an anti-nausea medication. I would definitely consult with your plastic surgeon a...
Hello dear! Thanks for the pictures and provided information as well. Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for liposuction with a BBL and a tummy tuck, to give you a nice tight tummy and to get rid of the extra skin, and I think you'll get very good results. To determine the right...
Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early in the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation, discomfort and irregularities are normal. If you have any...
