How painful will tumescent liposuction and Renuvion be?

Complete healing takes 6 months, but you should be back to all normal activities by 4 weeks. For a desk job, being back after 1 week is very reasonable.

Pain can be variable for patients who have had liposuction. If necessary, this pain can be treated with anti-inflammatory medications and neurontin. If it persists, I recommend following up with your Doctor about their pain management protocol. It can take 3-6 months for final results with liposuction. I suggest lymphatic massage, hyperbaric oxygen, and RF treatments like venus legacy to help reduce any swelling. If you are having one area of liposuction done, it would be pretty typical to be back at a desk job in three to five days.  If you are having multiple areas done, a week would be more appropriate.  The followup treatment after liposuction is very straightforward.  Prescription pain medicine is usually required for two or three days after surgery and then can be switched to over-the-counter medicines.  We use a compressive garment to be worn under your street clothes and no one would have to know you are wearing it.  Most patients describe the postoperative discomfort as typical of “one of the hardest workouts I have had.”  I have used that analogy for over 25 years with consistent accuracy.  I hope this has been helpful.
