Hello doctors, I had liposuction 82 hours ago in inner / outer thigh, knee , hip, arms I see some improvement on the arms and hips but the legs and knees BARELY LOOK DIFFERENT from when I started. They are EXACTLY where they were pre op :-( feeling very depressed The knees and legs feel very sore and bruised so should I expect the shrinkage to start in the next week ? I am concerned at this point at my decision to undergo the procedure Will appreciate your expert opinions thank you :-(

Hello. Great question. Congratulations on your procedure. At 82 hours you are very early in your recovery process. There is still a lot of swelling present. Swelling can misguide the result of your procedure. Be patient, keep following your surgeon's post op instructions.

It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance.
