Is a micropen treatment ok to get right after Botox?

Botox is injected underneath the skin into the target muscle, so any treatments to the skin - including lasers and micropen, will not effect the results of your treatment.  As you've mentioned, you will see the full results of your Botox treatment in about a week.  

It is safe to get both treatments in the same day. Botox
is placed deeper, into the muscle, and the micropen treats superficial
layers of the skin so the two work at different levels.

I often combine these procedures on the same day, although theoretically many think you should not as there is risk of spreading the botox to areas you did not want it to go.  I have not found this to occur whether the botox is injected first or later.  Botox takes 2 weeks to work completely.  Best, Dr. Emer.

We perform this on a daily basis in my practice however we perform micropen treatments and then Botox. The reasoning is that we don't like to lay patients flat after Botox because we don't want the product to migrate and cause deleterious effects. 

I think it is alright to receive micropen and Botox on the same day since they are placed in different layers. The Botox is placed in the muscle and the micropen is used on the skin. They should not be any problem if done correctly.
