Having a menstrual cycle during recovery from BBL.

My period is scheduled to start soon and I'm about 4 days post op. I haven't worn underwear up to this point to avoid lines etc on my butt. Once my period starts will I be okay using a tampon?

This is really dependent on your surgeon’s postoperative protocol. I prefer my patients not sit for about 2 weeks after surgery and then afterwards they sit on a donut for about a month just to offload the pressure on the buttocks.  Any pressure that you put on the buttocks can compromise the vi...
