When can I sit for about 3 to 4 hours with no pillow after bbl surgery?

I'm 19 days post op as of today and have not sat down at all not even with a pillow. I'm loving my results as all my swelling is going down. My question is it safe for me to sit with no pillow around day 27 for 3-4 hrs? I know it's a random day but I had an dinner I wanted to attend and was wondering if I would be in the clear to not harm any fat cells. Also I'm very numb still in certain areas of my flanks does this mean I can expect to see more dramatic results in these liposuctioned areas?!

I recommend to my patients they can sit 2 weeks after surgery for a short amount of time!  Make sure you consult with your plastic surgeon and make sure you are following all post op instructions! I recommend my patients to start using the special BBL pillow 2 weeks after surgery for about a month for only short periods of time.

For advice on post-op care, you surgeon will be the best and most appropriate source. Your surgeon knows the details of your procedure and therefore is in the best position to weigh the risks and benefits of certain activities during your recovery. 
That said, for a typical BBL patient, I usually ask that they avoid sitting or reclining for one week. After this point, a gradual return to these positions is fine. A specialized pillow can be helpful to offload pressure from treated areas. 
Numbness in the liposuction areas is very common and can last for several weeks before it gradually resolves. It certainly is an indication of ongoing healing in this area and perhaps you can expect further improvements in your result.
