My corregators have gone nuts and are very very pronounced and causing lots of lines. I DO NOT want any more botox given that I had rare reactions. Will these hypertropic corregator muscles go away? Will I have more permanent lines?
Answer: Botox It would be great if you can send some pics! Botox works. I am not sure what you mean by rare reactions. The corregator muscles will relax with the proper placement of Botox. I am not sure where the 5 unities was placed. Botox is not "causing" your lines, it does not posses the ability to do so. So, do send some pics.

Answer: Unhappy with Botox/Xeomin/Dysport--add venus legacy Yes, once Botox results resolve (around 3-4 months), your face will go back to normal. In the mean time, venus legacy treatments can soften results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: 5 units of botox in hairline 2 weeks ago. Will hypertropic corregator muscles go away? Will I have more permanent lines? The Botox in the high forehead will not affect the corrugators. They will not go away. Perhaps you can try an alternative neuromodulator like Dysport or Xeonim. Speak with your injector, I'm sure they can help.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

Answer: Botox forehead lines You must be very sensitive to Botox, 5 units at the hair line usually doesn't cause very pronounced frown lines. You may want to make sure that the Botox you got is original American made and distributed by US Allergan. Sometimes Botox shipped from outside of US may not be in the refrigerator for longer transport and it can make bacteria multiply, therefore 5units may not be 5, but much more. Anyway, results and side effects should start weaning off within 3-4 months. Alternatively you can have small amount of Botox injected into your corrugators to loosen them up now. Good luck!
