Can the hair at the temple area be lowered along with the hairline? (Photo)

Question

Hello, my hair is slightly receded and also I have a high forehead. Is it possible when lowering the hairline, to also bring in and also lower the hair at the temple area? I have a picture of what I mean when I say the hair at the temple area. It is outlined it in red. I feel that the hair at my temple area where it makes the 90 degree angle is a little too high away from my eyebrow if that makes sense, and a low hairline without lowering the temple area hair would look weird. Thank you!

You can lower the hair line with forehead reduction surgery but it cannot narrow the temple area.  You would need a hair transplant for the temples.  Overall, you would need an examination to make sure you would be a candidate for either procedures.

Hairline Lowering is often combined with small hair transplant sessions.  The hair transplants can be used to reshape the corners, round the hairline, and make other hairline shape changes.  The hair transplant is best performed using an FUE procedure as taking a strip can compromise the procedure (low risk but possible)

The frontal hairline is best lowered by advancing the frontal scalp. However, the temporal hairline is best changed with small grafts placed at the same time.

In females, I lower the forward growing frontal hairs by surgically advancing the scalp. And, in the same operative session I will transplant individual hairs to bring the vertically growing temple hairs forward. The donor hairs come from within the temples creating no additional scars or need for hair shaving. In young males, grafts are usually the treatment of choice for these changes.
