I had neck lipo and noticed it changed my face shape to a more rounded face and my cheeks look much bigger. Can buccal fat removal help with this ? Also can it be possible to have more fat on one side as my face looks bigger on my right side.

My guess is that your facial shape didn’t change, but simply became more apparent once the submental fat under your chin was removed. Fortunately, there are options to help you slim down the midface to create a more pleasing contour. Buccal fat pad removal could be a good treatment for you, but I would need to assess you in person to determine if that is definitely the case. I hesitate performing this procedure on younger patients, since it can affect how the face ages later on. However, in the right patient, the treatment may be the best way to achieve an optimal shape to the face. A round face can be effective treated with buccal fat removal.  An incision is made inside the cheek and the lower face buccal fat pad is removed leaving no visible scars.  The result is a much thinner cheek and a more angular face.

With the neck reduction by liposuction the natural shape of your face above it become more apparent. The only effective facial defatting procures are buccal lipectomies and perioral lposuction. Bout are usually needed to achieve a more complete reduction from the cheekbones down to the jawline. The buccal fat pad does not extend that low.

If only the neck is liposculpted then it definitely can make the lower face appear wider relative to the now slimmer neck. Buccal fat reduction can improve this but there is likely excess fat in the lateral cheeks and jawline contributing to the wider appearance that would require additional liposculpting.
