Is it okay to have buccal fat removal and CO2 laser done at the same time in order to merge the downtime on my holiday?

I am 26 years old and want to have both of these treatments done. I have one Asian parent and have inherited the chubby chipmunk cheeks. I also have pitted acne scars on my cheeks and forehead (from bad ance in my teens). However, it's hard to get time off work so when I do have a few weeks free on my holidays I was wondering if it is safe to combine both of these treatments in one day? Therefore combining the downtime. Or, would that heighten the risk of infections?

Multiple plastic surgery procedure can often be done safely (eg. buccal fat removal and CO2 laser facial resurfacing). In these cases the patient should expect more than expected post surgical swelling and downtime.

Great question!  Yes you can have both procedure done at the same time.  Since they involve different layers of the face, it can be safely done together.  However, I would also run this by your surgeon and make sure there are no other issues preventing you to have them together.  But if you are healthy without any risks then it should be fine.Best of luck and hope this information helps!
