Why is my bottom lip turning dark???? (photos)

I've been using eos lip balm after I wash my face every night. If anyone could tell me why this is happening and how to correct this problem I would surely appreciate it.

Although rare in dark skinned people, melanoma can occur (Bob Marley died of melanoma). It is necessary to see a dermatologist to make sure it is not one.
