I've always been allergic to latex. If I wear a band aid that has latex in it within hours I will get blisters in the shape of the band aid. I'm not really finding a lot of info online about latex allergy in correlation with getting lip injections. Is there any risk?

There is likely no risk to you if this is done, especially if done with a cannula, however, i suggest waiting. there is likely no reason why you would need to do this prior to having general anesthetic which would need access to your throat. I suggest waiting till after. Best, Dr. Emer.
You will be quite swollen for about one week, and sutures come out then. Be careful with that procedure because scars may be noticeable. Be certain to choose a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
