Sculptra injections will not change the shape of the eye. However, increased volume in the temples can provide the perception of lift through making the tail of the brow project more. Decreased hollowness of the temples is also aesthetically pleasing because it provides a better frame for the eyes (which is why a lot of women with hollow temples wear their hair over their temples).
Sculptra will not usually change the appearance of your eyes. It is designed to enhance areas of the face that have lost volume.
Sculptra does not change eyelid shape, but it will fill the temples, which lifts the tail of the brow. That can make the eye appear more "open".
Sculptra will not change the shape of your eyes, but can address volume loss around the eyes which can make eyes appear sunken and downward turned. Specifically the temples and lateral cheek areas, when revolumized create a softer fuller look and eliminate the skeletal appearance that makes eyes look tired and recessed. This is done incrementally in order to revolumize in a careful, predictable manner. Any additional work close to the eyes usually involves an HA filler placed using a canula to avoid any long term bruising or vessel damage around the eye.
Hi and thanks for your question. The simple answer is no. Facial fillers will not change one's eye shape. Make sure you find a very experienced injector to address your concerns, one that is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Good luck.Richard Chaffoo, MD, FACS,FICSTriple Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
My experience is that Sculptra works well to replace volume around the eye but fine tuning is difficult. The fact that Sculptra is very watery because it is mostly fluid when injected makes precise fine tuning hard because it spreads. I put a base of Sculptra and then put Restylane on top after the collagen has kick in in a couple months. Still, I'm not sure you can achieve the changes in the eyes with filler alone. Consult a specialist in eye surgery too.
Sorry. No Sculptra will not change the shape of your eyes when injected into the temple area.I have been using it for 20 years before it was approved in the usa.It is great for the temple area if you have lost volume there, but it will not change the shape of your eye aperture. It is a great product.
Yes, Sculptra can change the shape of your eye and face, but so can relaxers like Botox and facial cosmetic surgery. Sculptra may not give you as predictable results as other fillers, So it is vital that you find a board certified plastic surgeon member ofthe American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) who specializes in injectables and surgery to get a balanced recommendation which includes benefits and risks for all these treatments. Hope this helps and Best of luck!
Sculptra was FDA approved in the US for HIV lipodystrophy in 2004. Back then, when Sanofi-Aventis distributed Sculptra, the Access Program was generous. It had a higher income level cut-off to qualify, and then they supplied 6 vials (3 boxes) at the beginning, enough to do 3-4 treatments. ...
Sculptra can precipitate subcutaneous hard nodules several weeks to months following injection. In most cases these lumps are due to the concentration of the Sculptra particles in one place .This occurs more commonly around the mouth where the perioral muscles cause to particles to migrate in...
Sculptra comes in a powder form and has to be diluted with salt water prior to injection. If the powder is not diluted enough with water the concentration of particles within the Sculptra will be too high and when injected into the face will precipitate a reaction that leads to nodules.These...
