2 months post op, how soon before I can go for round 2?

You will usually need at least 3 months before getting a revision.  The revision implies that there is less fat than the first time, and scar tissue will make the surgery much more difficult on the surgeon.  The percentage of fat survival in the BBL the second time should be about the same. 

It is recommended to wait 3-6 months before having another procedure done to allow enough time for the transfer spots to heal.

Dear nkeiru,most plastic surgeons will recommend you to wait until you are fully healed before you consider another surgery. But every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD

I would recommend to wait six months between surgeries, but remember that all depends on your health and lab tests.
l suggest you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

If liposuction is to be performed in areas previously treated, we usually wait 6 months to allow for subsidence of swelling and the hypervascularity of healing. If liposuction is to be performed in new "virgin" areas, we usually wait 3 months between procedures. 
Follow the instructions of your plastic surgeon.

I generally do not like doing revision liposuction before the first six months and recommend you be patient. Generally speaking secondary liposuction gives a substantially less impressive results than the primary. Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.
