2 weeks post op BBL, pain free lump on lower left butt check. Messaged my PS, but want second opinion. Thoughts?

I am 2 weeks post op - I have a pain free “lump” on my left lower butt cheek that was not visible any days prior to this. It’s not red , discolored or painful - but I’m worried since it looks odd ! I messaged my surgeons office and they reccomended I see their massage tech ..... wanted to reach out to doctors first lol

Thank you for your question! For my patients, I recommend they wear the foam underneath the garment we provide for the first 3 weeks post surgery, 24/7, then an additional 3 weeks at night only. I recommend discussing specific post op questions with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!

I have not used drains after liposuction or BBL surgeries as I have not found them to be necessary.  The fluid usually drains through the portals of entry for a few days and that is the end of it.Cell saver is not typically utilized or necessary for these procedures.
