I had lipo (multiple areas) with fat transfer o hips/buttock (BBL), 12/2018. My butt looks really nice and the way my Dr sculptured my lower and sides gives me a SEXXY hourglass shape...I LOVE IT!! It does NOT look like he removed that patch of fat right above my butt crack. That patch of fat is so UGLY and makes my butt look weird. I’m being told it was removed and I will be able to see it when swelling goes down. I am almost 6 weeks post op now. I’m still seeing that UGLY FAT PATCH!

Answer: Does a sacral fat patch (chunk of fat above butt crack) typically/always get removed with BBL?
Thank you for your question! For my patients, I recommend they wear the foam underneath the garment we provide for the first 3 weeks post surgery, 24/7, then an additional 3 weeks at night only. I recommend discussing specific post op questions with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
Hello dear!!
Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal.

I do not use drains following a BBL.It is not worth the risk tof infection nor the discomfort with the use of drains. If a seroma or hematoma should occur in the first few days it can be drained.
