Cellfina vs QWO?

Question

I had a Brazilian Buttlift three years ago without implants. I now have significant dimpling cellulite. The surgeon that did my procedure told me there is nothing he can do to improve it. I am wondering if cellfina or qwo would be better?!

cellfina does much better and combined with sculptra gives you an amazing result but you have to see if you are a candidate. I tell people do the qwo follow the cellfina to get improved results. Best, Dr. Emer.

I have offered Cellfina in my practice for 6+ years. Understanding the structural cause of cellulite is important when choosing the best treatment. - Fibrous bands pull down on the skin causing the dimples that you see on the surface of the skin. The Cellfina system releases each band individually in order to allow the skin to smooth itself out. Bruising, soreness and swelling are expected but you can return to normal activities within 2-3 days. Water activities can resume once incision areas are fully healed.

Hello and thank you for your question! If the dimpling is true cellulite (as opposed to skin laxity), we recommend a procedure called Aveli. A great way to test is by gently pulling the skin above the dimple. If the dimple still exists, then it is cellulite. Aveli is a minimally invasive procedure that allows for precision and verification that each cellulite dimple has been released and properly treated.

To be properly evaluated, it's always best to see your treating physician as to which treatment is right for you, how much treatment you'll be having done, and how far you will be traveling after any given treatment. Most patients are driving themselves to and from the treatment since there is no sedation being used for the treatment. Though most patients are safe to travel longer distances as early as day or two after Cellfina treatment for example.
