Buccal Fat Removal on one cheek only?

Hello, I am considering getting a procedure with buccal fat due to my cheek fat being different. Would buccal fat removal on one cheek be the right move to go? I am not an expert, I just want an opinion! Thanks so much.

Based on your picture, it appears that you would be a suitable candidate for buccal fat removal. Varying amounts of fat can be removed from each cheek to address any asymmetry.

Of course, an « in person » consultation would be necessary. Make sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who has a good eye for the best outcome.

Hello, hope you are well. From the photo that you have submitted, it's not clear that unilateral buccal fat removal would address your asymmetry. Facial asymmetries are very common and can be from discrepancies in both the bony skeleton and soft tissue envelope. If the cheek bones are asymmetric, for example, removing a unilateral buccal fat pad could further accentuate that asymmetry. I think you should have an in-person consultation because the attached photo is not sufficient to give you a definitive answer.
