Hi!! I am 5’1 120lbs and petite frame! I am currently a 34 C but it definetely doesn’t feel like it! I have three kids! The youngest being 5 months!! I’m finally almost at my goal weight and I really want to get a breast augmentation! Preferably silicone but I read saline is better for people with bigger cup sizes?! Is that true? Anyways, I added some pictures could anyone tell me if a D or DD cup breasts would suit me? I want a high profile breast!
Answer: Breast implants are great for restoring lost volume after weight loss or breastfeeding It appears as though you'd look good either way! A D or DD would help to fill out the top part of your breasts nicely. I recommend placing breast implant sizers into your bra to get an idea of how large you want to go. This way, you'll get a pretty good idea of how you'd look after surgery with either a D or DD breast implant. Thank you for your question! Dr. Schreiber, Baltimore plastic surgeon

Answer: The Bellesoma Method At size 34 C each 100 cc’s corresponds to 1 cup size change. You have had 3 pregnancies and you do not have ptosis, but your breasts have descended on the chest wall. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method with simultaneous fat transfers. This technique will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: How much is too much? Great question - I have several thoughts re breast implant sizing. First - I think that it is really helpful to use a software system like Crisalix to create a digital model of yourself and then see what you would look like with different sized implants. Secondly, it can also be helpful to try on implants in a bra.Regarding silicone and saline, I think that especially when you are choosing a larger size that silicone looks and feels more natural - more like a normal breast.I hate to throw a monkey wrench into the mix but you might also need to consider a small lift - which would be determined at the time of your consultation! Best of luck!

Answer: Breast Sizing When it comes to selecting the size for breast implants, we do not usually discuss cup sizes based on D and DD as these values are not consistent or standardized between companies. It is most important to pick an implant size that matches the base width of your breast, as this will ensure that the implant is placed in an appropriate position. I would schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to help determine what size implant will meet your goals!

Answer: Breast augmentation Hello and thank you for your question. You are a great candidate for a breast augmentation. The size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. This entire surgery can be performed with a small incision technique. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
