If you're only 15 years old, I would recommend that you wait a few more years before having surgery because your breasts may not be fully developed at this time.
Dear hopeee, You have my sympathy, but as a rule, since the breasts can still grow, theoretically, up to the age of 24, it is preferable to waite few more years. Having said that, in 27 years of practice I had one 15 years old patient that had breasts augmentation surgery. She was totally flat chested and refused to participate in any gym activity at school because she was embarassed to change her cloths in the locker room. She was depressed and anti social. She asked for the procedure and was supported by her parents and pediatritian ( they signed a consent for surgery ). I gave her small implants ( 175 cc ) and made her a small B cup. After surgery , she was a changed person. Confident, social and happy. Years later , when she was in college, she stopped by in my office to thank me for huge change that I have made in her life. So, if you have a similar story, get you parents and pediatritian support and do it. Always, consult with board certified plastic surgeons and check their before and after pictures to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and that you like them. Best of luck, Dr Widder
Thank you for your question. I agree with the previous answer, to wait until you are 18 years old. At that point, you can see a plastic surgeon and go over your options. Most board certified Plastic Surgeons will not do a breast augmentation on someone under 18.
You and your plastic surgeon and your parents, should discuss when you started your period, compared to your mother and sisters and their development.....that will give you some idea of the way things are going.....if your female relatives are very small breasted, you may consider some small augmentation, understanding that you may disrupt your own development....in any case this has to be discussed with parents and board certified plastic surgeon
I think that you should wait a few more years because you may grow some more. Besides you would need your parent's permission to see a plastic surgeon. Good luck.
First of all you are not a candidate for breast augmentation. You must be 18 to get saline implants and 22 for silicone. So you really have no choice but to wait or go overseas and I wouldn't recommend that! If you find a plastic surgeon willing to do the surgery, run as fast as possible. No reputable surgeon would do such a thing. Good luck and be patient.
I would recommend that you wait until your are 18 years old before embarking on breast augmentation surgery. At that age, saline implants are the only type of implant available for breast augmentation in a person under the age of 22. It is unlikely that you will find a board certified plastic surgeon to perform this procedure prior to your 18th birthday.
You need to obtain parental permission to have implant, saline, surgery. Also in most cases you must be 18 years of age...
You are still too young to consider surgery. In addition at 15 you may not be done with puberty and you breasts may still get bigger. Give it some time and avoid any topical products or magic potions out there. When you are 18 and if you are still unhappy with the size of your breasts then consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.
Although I do not want to seem insensitive to your concerns, the answer to questions is very simple: wait. Do not waste your time/ resources on "miracle" medications, creams, lotions… Evaluate your situation again at the age of 18. Best wishes.
