I am 5,1. 98-100lbs. I went to my BBL consult. Of course they told me i didn't have a lot of fat but could work with the fat i have. Would start by filling in my hip dips. High definition lipo. He could give me a more hour glass figure but calculates about 300 cc in each butt cheeks. Is this really worth over 14 grand....? If i get this done i want to see a difference. I don't want to be modest and settle. I want a bigger noticeable butt
Answer: Skinny BBL Dear Jg2389, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: BBL in Skinny Patients I think you will benefit from a fat injection and getting some extra definition. The hip dip you have just breaks the but silhouette and there may be still some fat to remove in your waist line, so having a bit narrower waist and bit rounder butt has a synergistic effects to achieve a better body shape. I suggest you to gain a few pounds right before the surgery to help your surgeon.

Answer: Skinny BBL Dear Jg, You have a very nice figure to begin with. We can't see your abdomen/hips to determine the full amount of available fat. Keep in mind that an unknown amount of transferred fat (30-70%) will be absorbed, which could leave you with only 100cc or less. Whether that is worth the extremely high cost that you have been quoted can only be decided by you. Perhaps seek a few more consultations with American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified plastic surgeons. Good luck!

Answer: Body contouring Impatiens will have less impact from Liposuction, but the procedure can give very good definition, and sometimes people whose bodies look close to perfect only need small changes to get to where they want to be. All of that said, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of provider selection. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction and fat. Transfer results is much more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeon soup truly mastered this procedure is in a small minority. The following are some general guidelines for provider selection. If in doubt, I suggest you stay on this side of being conservative and don’t schedule surgery. Poorly done Liposuction can leave people disfigured, and correcting poorly done outcomes is very difficult and often not possible. The harvest enough fat to make the procedure successful may require liposuction of the many areas. Overly aggressive liposuction, especially using energy equipment, can increase the chance of disfigurement. Personally, I’m not a fan of high definition Liposuction, and find that it often contributes to a very surgical look, that is more or less permanent. Here are some recommendations to find the best provider. I cannot emphasize provider selection enough. Never assume somebody is good at Liposuction without seeing clear proof by having impressive portfolios. To find the best provider, I suggest patient schedule multiple in person consultations with experienced plastic surgeons in their community. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patients who have similar body or facial characteristics to your own. An experienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. An experienced provider should in fact have hundreds or preferably thousands of before and after pictures to choose from for commonly performed procedures. Being shown a handful of preselected images, representing the best results of a provider’s career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results will look like in the hands of each provider. There is no correct number of consultations needed to find the best provider. The more consultations you scheduled the more likely you are to find the best provider for your needs. Take careful notes during each consultation, especially regarding the quantity and quality of before and after pictures. It’s not a bad idea to bring pictures of your own body/face to use as reference when reviewing before and after pictures. The biggest mistake patients make is scheduling only one consultation without properly vetting or comparing providers before scheduling surgery. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
