I had liposuction done 8 weeks ago and for the last 6 weeks I have been nauseous every day, no matter what I eat I feel sick; no vomiting just nauseous. Could this be related?

Answer: Nausua eight weeks after liposuction The most common reason people get nauseous after surgery is it from taking narcotic pain medications. It's highly unlikely you're still taking prescription narcotic pain medication but if you are then you should consider stopping these. Some people have extreme nausea and vomiting after general anesthesia but this typically resolves within 24 hours. some people are predisposed to getting nauseous easily. For example some women are nauseous almost every day during pregnancy, get seasick or carsick easily and puke when given narcotic pain medication. Typically Women are more prone to nausea than men. Are you still taking any medication prescribed for the surgery? Go through what's different now than before. Consider discussing this with your provider or even your primary care physician.
