I have a tummy tuck 6 months ago and mystomach isstillbulge out. Whatiswrong. I'm thinkinng my surgeon didn't do a good.job.. i

Thank you for your question regarding why your tummy is bulging after a tummy tuck and muscle repair. The tummy tuck procedure usually includes muscle plication and elimination of excess skin and fat of the abdomen. Swelling after the surgery can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. If liposuction is involved, the recovery could be even longer. In your case, I would definitely suggest continuing to wear your garment and being very conscientious about what you eat, and continuing to exercise. It is important that you express your concerns to your plastic surgeon. However, to me, your swollen abdomen looks like normal routine postoperative swelling. Good luck. It is not possible to tell with the limited photo what may be occurring.  It could be visceral fat (fat around the organs).  This is located behind the muscle wall and cannot be treated with a tummy tuck.  The result could be from the abdominal wall not being corrected.  It could also be swelling  I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
