Everyone's body responds differently as healing takes place. There are usually plateaus after 6 weeks at 3,6,9 and 12 months. Different areas such as the tummy may heal slower.Close follow up with your plastic surgeon is recommended.
Hi, Thank you for your post. After liposuction you are very swollen and it takes time to really appreciate how the final results look. At about 3 months you will have a good idea of how you will look. Although you are still healing most of the swelling is gone at this point. Having the area massaged definitely helps to speed up the results. Contact your plastic surgeon with any questions or concerns.
