Find them really embarrassing not sure if they are freckles, age spots or moles but my butt checks have a lot of them and I find it really embarrassing is there’s any way or removing or fading these! Really starting to affect my confidence now
Answer: Help lighten and reduce appearance of sun damaged skin by doing IPL laser treatments Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve the visibility of the scars so that they are no longer visible in ambient light. Everyone has a unique pattern of scarring and we employ our HIDEF technique to improve texture, color, contour, and topography. We often use a combination of treatments that begin with a careful examination to examine the micro texturing of the acne scars. Atrophic scars and indented scars can benefit from injectable fillers such as Radiesse, Sculptra, and Restylane with or without subcision to remove tethered scars and atrophic depression. Hyper-redness in scars can be improved with V beam laser, Excel V, BBL, IPL, and Venus RF to improve the redness and reduce the visibility of deep scars. Fractional Thulium laser and clear & brilliant can also reduce the inflammation and redness of the scar when combined with topical therapy. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Above all, our combination approach with our clinical nurses and board-certified plastic surgeons can improve the quality of your skin by using at home Melarase creams combined with PRP treatments in our office to improve your skin quality and tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced team of experts in order to reduce your scarring. Finally, hyperpigmentation of scars can be improved with at-home Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads to help reduce active PIH and melanin deposition. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Buttock lesions? Englewood Cliffs New Jersey Based on your photos, it is difficult to diagnose. It could be freckles, moles or post inflammatory pigmentation, if you have a history of acne on the buttocks. Freckles can be treated with IPL or laser but may return when exposed to sunlight. Moles can be lasered, however one must be sure that they are benign. A test spot on one lesion is suggested. Visit a dermatologist to develop a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Answer: IPL Hello phoebemegan, Thank you for sharing your pictures. You would be a great candidate for IPL. IPL picks up on brown and red spots. During your healing your spots will get darker then peel off. You should start to peeling by day 6 or 7. It can take a 2-3 weeks before you see your full results. More than 1 session maybe needed. Be sure when you do the procedure you get all the after care products you need. Such as a gentle cleanser, laser balm, and sunscreen. Keep the area moist and clean until fully healed. You should find a specialist near you to help achieve the results you desire. Good luck!

Answer: Upon first glance You look like an excellent candidate for IPL treatment! Depending upon your reactivity, it may take multiple treatments, and many times they will get initially darker post-treatment. Usually our patients see a darkening of the spot or lesion, followed with flaking or falling off. As otherwise mentioned, avoid sun exposure while under-going treatment, and be sure to apply a good sunblock!Good luck!
