Do I need to see my Dermatologist or wound Dr? I received too high of energy from IPL/ELight, 2 weeks post op. (photos)

I recommend following up with your cosmetic dermatologist for after care. I recommend Silagen + Bioshield and PDT therapy to promote healing. I recommend lasers with Cosmelan and microneedling/prp to improve outcomes. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
 

Thanks for your questions and photos. I'm sorry that you are so uncomfortable right now. I do think you should see your provider for follow-up, as it is really important to take care of injured skin to give it the best possible chance of healing well. Some of the things you are using could be causing further irritation (and itching) to the skin and your provider may have other recommendations. Sunscreen and sun avoidance are crucial while the skin is healing. You may also want to consider a product with growth factors and/or silicone.

Sorry to see how your recovery is going. I recommend that you keep the area clean using a gentle cleanser, keep it moist with an ointment, and avoid sun exposure. You should follow up with your doctor asap. I hope you recover well soon.
