I first got juvederm about 3 years ago and it created a bump on the upper, side of my lip. I had it dissolved and my lips redone, but the lump never went away. When I went in for my touch up I was unhappy with how high above my lips the filler traveled and that I still had the bump; I dissolved upper lips again. Lump was still there, so I dissolved again. I'm supposed to get then redone next week but I'm scared. Will the bump ever go away? What do I need to do? Thanks.

Answer: Lumps and Bumps after Juvederm. HA fillers such as Juvederm Ultra do not last more than 1 year. It's hard to tell where the bump is from your photos. You can do some laser on top to heat and restructure the filler, but again this should have been done right after injection (about a week in my opinion). Vitrase; when injected superficially into the area will dissolve the HA instantly. In my experience, there is no harm in using it again.Good luck to you, and I'm very sorry this happened to you.Be well.#vitrase #lumpsandbumps #optionsfordissolve

Answer: Long lasting bumps after filler I'm not sure I would inject anymore hyluronidase , if you had it injected before and it wasn't dissolved , it may be scar tissue . You may need a kenalog injection which is a steroid , that would soften and flatten it.
