What cup size is 550cc breast implants?

Question

So im a 6 foot one tall trans woman with a bamd size of 36-38 . I jus had my breast augmentation and he put 550 ccs in does anyone know what cup size that would be i wanted to go for a nice full D because i do have broader shoulders and i felt as tho that would balance out

Thanks for your question.  There is no exact correlation between implant size and final cup size.  There are other contributing factors like your own breast tissue and the type of bra purchased.

The number of cc in an implant does not alone determine the breast size. The breast size is determined by the native breast plus the implant added to it. Typically a 550 mL implant will take a breast up more than two cup sizes, and tall patients require bigger implants than short patients to achieve a proportionate size.  Once you have implants, try on bras and wear what is comfortable. Breast volume and proportions are more important than the cup size on the box.

Thank you for your question and congratulations on your surgery. I would ask that you try and focus on the appearance of your surgical results and not the anticipated cup size.  Though I understand how cup size is a relative way to discuss a breast's size, different manufacturers vary on how their brand determines a particular cup size.  Allow your results to mature over the next six months then fit an appropriate bra to your breasts for support. Hope this helps

There is really no way to say for sure. It depends on your body type, and existing breast tissue. Frankly, cup size is never a good indicator of actual breast volume since they vary between bra manufacturers. I appreciate your question.It depends on your chest wall measurements and existing breast tissue as implant size does not accurately correlate to a bra size.  It also depends on the brand and style of bra you wear as size varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

like breast tissue, body measurements, desired end result and the like.

Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. Online consultants  will not be able to predict, with any reliability/accuracy, what cup size you will end up wearing. You will need to go bra shopping/fitting;  in my practice, I ask patients to wait 3 to 6 months before doing so. Don't be surprised, at that time, if you end up different wearing different bra cup sizes, depending on who makes the bra.  Generally speaking, I ask my patients not to communicate their goals and/or evaluate the outcome of breast surgery in terms of achieving a specific cup size ( given the variability in the measurement of cup sizes…). Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with, regardless of the specific cup size achieved.
