This will depend on how you want your bras to fit. Theoretically the band size will not increase because it is a measure of your chest circumference. However, with implants you might find the 34 is mor comfortable. It will require trying the bras on.
Thanks for such an intersting question. In reality, your band size wont increase in relation with a breast augmentation. But, in many cases, according to the type of bra you use, you may show an increment in the size of the band. Wishing you luck,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol
The band size technically measures your chest circumference and the cup size measures your breast size. Having said that, even though your breast size will change with an augmentation and your chest circumference will not, it is very possible that your bra size will change along with the band size given how variable bra sizing and fitting can be. Best of luck with your surgery!
Thank you for your question. Your band width may increase slightly early on due to swelling. However, it should not change long term. The cup size will increase with BA surgery. Best of luck
This is a function of your rib cage or thorax below the breasts and therefore should not be expected to change.
Band width in theory should not change, only cup size. However, just like any clothes, bra sizes by bra companies are not standardized. In other words, different companies and different styles may fit differently. The best thing to do is to get measured by the intimates store of your choice and try on the bras for size.
Band size does not change with augmentation because that is related to you chest and back circumference. Best of luck.
In theory the band size should stay the same, in actuallity the size will probably increase. The bottom line is that you should not be concerned about numbers and letter. You should be concerned about the way you want to look. If you look fantastic at a 32 or a 34 what difference do thenumbers make:you look fantastic.
Your band width is a measure of your chest or rib cage circumference and should not change with augmentation. Only the cup size will change.
Your band width should not increase in size but your cup size should go up. This is why PS will tell patients not to buy too many bras at first because as several months go by the bras will not fit as they should and you will have to be fitted again.
Hard to say what it could be without examining it, but based on what you wrote, it could be a stitch or a spitting suture. Don't pick at it but go see your surgeon as she/he will be able to determine whether it is something that needs to be addressed immediately or will subside as you heal...
You do not actually have to be in possession of your documents. If you don't even know which manufacturer was used, that can be found out at surgery. Say you know nothing except the actual date of your surgery. You have surgery, the implants are removed. They have identifying...
Please follow up with your Plastic Surgeon regarding your concern. Photos and examination are needed. Please make sure to follow the post operative care guide your PS provided.
