I don't see so many lady's with UHP , why? Is it safer to get HP instead of UHP?
Answer: HP vs. UHP The UHP's are much newer so a lot more women have them. But now that they're available, they are superior for certain women with specific goals. Personally, I love them for most women who want a larger implant regardless of their body shape because they are less in their armpits or lateral. Safety is not the issue, at all. Good question!

Answer: Is there a big difference between UHP or HP ? To be honest with you, there is no big difference between the two. If your cup size is a C or above, then the difference can be unperceivable. This is why you might not see them used very often. Safety is not an issue. I will caution you, however, against choosing a large implant. Breast implants weigh considerably and can cause a myriad of problems down the line. They may look great initially, but can stretch tissue, cause chronic pain, extrude, cause capsular contractures, etc. Please choose the smallest implant that will give you the 'look' you want to minimize future complications. Visit the breast implant revision forum on this site for more information on the subject. I hope this helps.Kind regards,Gary Horndeski M.D.

Answer: UHP Thank you for your question. The HP profile is not safer then the UHP implant. The UHP implant has not been on the market as long as the HP. I utilize both in my practice. The important thing is to choose the implant that fits your chest dimensionally well, and has the volume to achieve the size you desire. I hope this helps.

Answer: UHP vs HP Great Question! As long as the implant is properly fitted to your breast measurements, there shouldn't be any problems. The UHP implant is narrower and more projecting than the HP implant - ie it projects further from your chest wall. Wishing you success in your goals, Dr. Yoo.

Answer: Ultra High Profile vs High Profile Implants Both are very safe options. They are great for women seeking a fuller yet proportionate look. Ultra high profile implants can have a narrower width with slightly more projection that high profile implants. Which implant is right for you depends on several factors. Generally speaking, I consider two factors when selecting implants for my patients:1. Dimensional planning2. Gel Implant Sizing systemDimensional planning – The measurements of your chest wall are taken. Also, the breast dimensions including the height, width, and current dimensions of each breast form the basis of dimensional planning. Based on these measurements, the implant size is recommended. This will give you a unique breast implant that is suited for your body frame. However, there are some limitations of what size we can recommend. For instance, some implants may just be too big for a narrow chest wall. Your surgeon can review this with you during the consultation.Gel Implant Sizing system – During the preliminary breast implant consultation, you will be provided with an option to “try on” a variety of implant shapes and sizes. You can also visualize the possible outcomes of your surgery which helps you to get that perfect size to give you the shape that you longed for. This way your preferences are known and you can then pick a range of implants that will “fit” just right to give a soft natural fuller look. Hope this helps.Dr. BasuHouston, TX
