Thank you for your question and congratulations on your recent procedure! While it can be safe to return to light exercise such as walking on treadmill, most will return to normal activity after three months. It's best to follow the restrictions your own surgeon had set in order to prevent any complications. Good luck and congratulations again!
Hello dear! Thanks for sharing your concerns. But i recommend you to follow your doctor's instructions, because he/she is the one that knows about the procedure you have done, the way he/she did it and certainly is a good time to let the body heal properly. Good luck :)
As you return to your exercise routine it is important that you progress slowly. Speak with your surgeon about when you can begin and what your limitations are. Many patients are cleared to return to exercise without limitations by three months, but you may be able to do more limited exercises before this time. Your surgeon will advise you on what is best for you.
I generally tell my patients that they can start strenuous exercise at six weeks after surgery. Exercise should be gradually increased from that point. It is always best to follow your own doctor's advice.
