I'm sorry that you have had a bad experience after Restylane injections. The forehead is an off-label use for filler injections that is not approved by the FDA. While it is unusual to have Filler injections be the cause of an infection, it is not impossible. Remember to trust board certified injectors for choosing who should do your treatments. Luckily, the Filler can be dissolved if you desire. Good luck!
I don't believe your filler injection is the cause of repeated eye infections. However, you should be examined by an eye expert who can give you the appropriate diagnosis and risks factors for this type of infection.
It is unlikely that the filler has led to actual conjunctivitis or eye infections. You can get some superficial cellulitis of the skin and soft tissues near the injection site but those would be more closely related to the timing of injection. It is worth seeing your surgeon though to be sure.A more natural option to consider is fat injection in the future. Less chance of infection and or allergic reaction.Hope this helps.Best of luck,Drc
Fillers should not cause an eye infection. It is likely from another cause. Good luck and hope it clears soon.
Fillers are sterile and should not cause any type of infection. You should see a board certified ophthalmologist for treatment

Thanks for your question. I suggest you see an experienced injector where you can use your certificate to pay for part of the treatment and you may have to cover the rest out of pocket to get the results you want. Most of my patients, start out with 1 syringe. Restylane and Juvederm are...
