It is unlikely that the filler has led to actual conjunctivitis or eye infections. You can get some superficial cellulitis of the skin and soft tissues near the injection site but those would be more closely related to the timing of injection. It is worth seeing your surgeon though to be sure.A more natural option to consider is fat injection in the future. Less chance of infection and or allergic reaction.Hope this helps.Best of luck,Drc
I don't believe your filler injection is the cause of repeated eye infections. However, you should be examined by an eye expert who can give you the appropriate diagnosis and risks factors for this type of infection.
Fillers should not cause an eye infection. It is likely from another cause. Good luck and hope it clears soon.
Fillers are sterile and should not cause any type of infection. You should see a board certified ophthalmologist for treatment
I'm sorry that you have had a bad experience after Restylane injections. The forehead is an off-label use for filler injections that is not approved by the FDA. While it is unusual to have Filler injections be the cause of an infection, it is not impossible. Remember to trust board certified injectors for choosing who should do your treatments. Luckily, the Filler can be dissolved if you desire. Good luck!
Many patients require more than one injection of filler to get the desired results with the lips. I suggest you wait a little, see your injector at 2 weeks, and review your before and after photos with your injector. Once your goals are re-asserted, then you can consider more Restylane.
It is common to have swelling and some bruising for a couple weeks after fillers, so it's still too soon to tell what your final results will be. If the swelling persists, be sure to return to your physician (or see a cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert) for a formal evaluation....
Thanks for your question. I suggest you see an experienced injector where you can use your certificate to pay for part of the treatment and you may have to cover the rest out of pocket to get the results you want. Most of my patients, start out with 1 syringe. Restylane and Juvederm are...
Hi and thanks for this question. Restylane (and all the other dermal fillers too) can become a little bumpy. Since it's been 6 months, I think you should consider a medication to dissolve it. If you feel it's not improving then consider seeing your injector. The Restylane HA can be reversed ...
This is most likely swelling. Few hours after the injection, you really can't tell what will be the final results. There is a recovery period that the nurse should have worn you about. you have to be patient and wait at least for one week.
It is unlikely that filler injections caused an acne breakout, it is probably a coincidence. Breakouts can be caused by a number of factors, including hormones. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for treatment for active acne including skin care, peels, lasers,...
