My Juvederm bump won't go away, its been 1 year! What can I do?

Sometimes it takes more than one treatment to fully remove the filler.  However, if a granuloma formed, this would have to be surgically removed.  You need an evaluation by someone who specializes in filler treatments.  Best, Dr. Emer.

If Hyaluronidase worked the first time, but not the second then it's possible that all the filler was dissolved and what's left there is not filler. Could be scar tissue, or a granuloma, etc. The best thing to do is find a surgeon in your area who has experience in dealing with filler complications for an in-person evaluation. Good luck.

If you had 2 attempts at the bump with hyaluronidase,  it probably has some scar tissue associated with it so it needs to be excised. You can try one more hyaluronidase treatment but it probably won't work. The excision is a small procedure that you will heal very quickly from. 

Hyaluronidase may be repeated, but it needs to be injected properly and the hyaluronidase should not be expired. Consult with 3 experienced and expert physician injectors in your new area to understand your options.

Sometimes it takes more than 1 treatment to get rid of the filler with Hyaluronidase. You might want to try 1 more time. The enzyme expires pretty quickly and there is a chance  the enzyme used on you had expired.We rarely use  the enzyme so your doctor may have expired enzyme. It does not work well if it is expired.Be sure you go to a doctor that has fresh enzyme...if it still doesn't go away you may need to see a plastic surgeon to have it surgically removed.It may be some kind of scar tissue or a granuloma.Good luck  to you.

It might be that you developed scar tissue in your lip. The hyaluronidase should have worked the second time if it was filler.
