How much filler does nasolabial folds is needed?

Thanks for your inquiry.   Each doctor will have their own practices but I usually suggest my patients start with only one syringe for both folds.  If they love the result but want even more enhancement, they can always choose to have more, either during the same appointment or at a later date.  Folds are usually improved but do not completely disappear.  Some patients will prefer to come back for more frequent touchups but others will wait 8-12 months before returning for more injections.

Hard to give an opinion without photos. Often volume will help the soft tissue structures of the face. This is especially true of the NLF.  Each patient is different. Choice of substance and placement may vary. Best to see an experienced injector. Tell him/her your issues and lifestyle. Together you will come up with an appropriate decision.

Typically nasolabial folds will require either one or two 1cc syringes of Juvederm Ultra Plus XC.  It depends on the patient.  Whether the fold will just be better or almost completely invisible depends on the depth of the lines to start.  I commonly see my patients are re-injecting this area after 18 months to two years.

Depending on the severity of the condition and the goals/objectives of the patients, one to two syringes of Juvederm are used for the nasolabial folds every six months. Depending on the skill of the injector and the quantity used, the folds could disappear entirely or made significantly less noticeable. For the highest patient satisfaction, use an expert and experienced physician injector.

I usually like to use one syringe per side, but without seeing how deep your nasolabial folds are, it isdifficult to determine.  Make sure that you consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and go withhis suggestion.  I prefer to use Radiesse over other fillers, I feel its the best toolin my hands for this particular area.

How much Juvederm would you need for your nasolabial folds? Most 50-year-olds would be a minimum of two syringes. When people get to little filler, the don't full correction. If they get too much, the normal anatomy can be distorted.
