Question

I have a very small mouth and small lips with a long pointed nose that also has a lump in the center. I have been bullied all my life for my "witch nose" and tiny mouth and lips. I imagine i would need quite a bit of plastic surgery to feel attractive and comfortable with myself. But i am also afraid my features and faceshape and bone structure is to different to even be able to have successful surgeries and not just look strange. What procedures do u recommend for my specific case?

​You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. Volbella, Restylane, and Juvederm are good to create a symmetrical lip. NovaThreads can be used to improve lift and shape. So very sorry to hear that you were bullied over this. How cruel!  Congratulations on the baby. Happily, HA fillers can be used to increase the volume of lips, as well as to augment chin projection to create greater harmony in both frontal and profile views between the nose, lips and chin. What's more, a small bolus of lifting filler placed at the base of the columella can help to lift the nasal tip, which would in turn diminish some of the pointy appearance you describe. Yes, based upon your photo's lip filler will enhance your lips making your face more proportional. There are a lot of lip fillers on the market that would be a great fit for you. Juvederm and Kysse are just a few that will give you a very natural enhancement that I think you would be pleased with. You will need to make sure to go to an expert injector and have realistic expectations of the final outcome.

Facial aesthetics can get pretty complex and is to some degree subjective.

Based on your pictures it appears you have a short upper lip and upper lip lengthening whether done with a surgical procedure or possibly Botox treatment may be helpful.

It’s hard to make someone’s mouth larger but live volume done correctly and a relatively conservative manner typically always looks good.

A reduction rhinoplasty with lifting the tip would also be something to consider.

In the end our individual facial appearances are primarily based on skeletal structure and soft tissue manipulation can sometimes be limited because of it.

I recommend scheduling a few in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons who have ample experience with facial aesthetics.

Finding the most experienced and talented provider is the first step in the process.

Hello, and thanks for your question. First of all, you are beautiful! You just may need a little adjustment to improve your self-confidence, just as most people do. I believe you are a great candidate for lip fillers. Most lip fillers last about 6-18 months, and Juvederm is one of our most popular lip fillers. If you are interested in making your nose a little smaller, I highly recommend a rhinoplasty, a surgical procedure which will take the hump down and will make your nose overall smaller. Other than that, I don't see anything else that you'd want to change. These two procedures may increase your confidence ten-fold!
