I am a 21 yr old male,. I stared noticing that my left eye is smaller than my right eye only recently and this had made me worry about it,. I also seem to have an asymmetrical face to go with that,. Would that be the cause or is there something fishy about it? But i think it has been the same way from my childhood

Thank you for your question. It is difficult to give a precise answer without photos or an in-person examination. Common causes of post operative "burning" and/ or foreign body sensation are dry eyes or corneal exposure from the inability of the eyes to fully close during the healing...
There are definite limitations of how horizontally long the eyelid/eye can be and that is limited by the orbit. However, you can reduce the sclera show you are describing to give the eye more almond shaped appearance (rather than round). See following link and video.
Thank you for your question. You are still very early in the healing process, and it may take up to several weeks to see the final results. Follow your doctors post-operative instructions and remain in close contact with him or her. Best wishes.
