Hello, I know that it is acceptable to put cheek implants in the center of the face. (Image A) I have a narrow face and i would like to know, if it is possible to place cheek implants on the sides of the face, (image B, C) to give the face wider appearance. Thank you
Answer: Cheek implants Cheek implants can be placed anywhere along the cheekbone. There are implants that are meant to go more toward the center and others that fit along the outer cheek. Custom cheek implants is another option.

Answer: Advising on cheek implant placement Cheek implants are typically placed to enhance the natural contours of your face and are generally not used to dramatically alter the overall width or shape of the face. However, they can help to create the illusion of a wider face by enhancing the mid-face area. Here's how cheek implants are usually placed: 1. An incision is made either inside the mouth or through the lower eyelid. 2. A pocket is then created for the implant. 3. The implant is inserted and positioned over the cheekbone. 4. The incision is then closed with sutures. The placement of cheek implants depends on the patient's facial structure and the desired outcome. It's important to have an open discussion with your surgeon about your goals and expectations to ensure that the procedure will meet your needs. Remember, each individual's face is unique, so it's crucial that the procedure is tailored to your specific facial features and proportions. You should also be aware that while implants can enhance your facial contours, they may not drastically change your face's width. It's also important to consider potential risks and complications of cheek implant surgery, including infection, implant shifting, and dissatisfaction with the cosmetic result. Always consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and potential outcomes. It might also be helpful to see before and after photos of patients who have undergone similar procedures.

Answer: Absolutely You are talking about different types of implants. There are submalar implants, malar implants, and custom implants which can be used and placed into different positions. We do each type depending upon where you need augmentation. These are usually placed right in the office.

Answer: Robust HA Lifting Fillers Can Work Well For Cheek Contouring Why not consider the use of a robust HA lifting filler? I personally use them for all kinds of facial shaping and contouring, including cheek contouring. Advantages: nonsurgical, less expensive, immediate (on-the-spot) results; and little to no significant downtime. You would be wise to make sure to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. Hope this helps and best of luck.
