CO2 laser resurfacing after Profound RF - How long should I wait between procedures?

Profound radiofrequency and CO2 laser resurfacing work differently, making them a good complement to one another. Profound is a collagen induction therapy that rejuvenates the skin by stimulating more collagen production under the surface. CO2 lasers can also stimulate collagen production, while removing the outermost layers of skin to refresh the entire complexion. 
Profound and CO2 laser resurfacing can be performed during the same session in most cases. If you have already had your Profound treatment performed, you should be able to schedule your laser procedure any time, as long as you have recovered well from the radiofrequency procedure. Make sure you are working with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in both these procedures to ensure an optimal outcome. 

Very good question. These two procedures can actually be performed simultaneously in a single treatment session. That said, you should be able to follow your Profound treatment with CO2 laser resurfacing whenever you are ready to do so. Make sure you work with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in non-surgical skin rejuvenation and notify the doctor about your previous treatment to ensure your procedure is both safe and successful.

If you have recovered without complication from your Profound treatment then you should be OK to proceed with laser resurfacing. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician to minimize your risk of complications. Best wishes.

We frequently perform co2 laser at the same time as Profound. The laser works more superficially than the Profound and we have noticed a synergistic benefit in the results when the procedures are performed together. I would encourage you to proceed.

The  majority of the Profound effect occurs at 2 mm below the level of the skin. A laser that penetrates 1 to 1.5 mm can be utilized at any time after  and even during the Profound procedure.

The two can a be done at the same time, actually. However, you already had the Profound RF done, you can actually proceed to do the CO2 laser to your entire face immediately after. Assuming you didn't have any complications with the Profound treatment. Please make sure you work with a certified dermatologist, and inform them of your previous procedures.
