How closely can chin filler emulate a genioplasty?

Hi! I'm considering doing a genioplasty but thought to do chin filler before as a sort of look into the future before major surgery. I know I can advance forward, but with chin filler can I aesthetically advance vertically as well? I have a deep labial fold so I believe vertical advancement is important?

Yes - fillers can be placed just about anywhere.  This can give you a good idea of what to expect.  We also do implants (in the office) that can vertically (or horizontally or both) advance your chin.  You may also consider accutite beneath the chin in the neck to reduce some fullness for a nice strong jawline. Watch our videos to learn more.

It is a good idea if you have some doubts about augmentation with implant. However, it has to be done by a skilfull person who understands anatomy and expansion of chin with implant. Only in that case you may see a result close to augmentation with implant. A surgeon whom you select for your chin surgery would be the best choice. Hope this helps.
