Hi! I'm considering doing a genioplasty but thought to do chin filler before as a sort of look into the future before major surgery. I know I can advance forward, but with chin filler can I aesthetically advance vertically as well? I have a deep labial fold so I believe vertical advancement is important?

Very likely that combination of liposuction of neck and jawline with chin implant would be a good procedure in your case. You should discuss this option with your surgeon. If available, 3D simulation would help. Good luck.

It is very difficult to decide whether chin augmentation by means of implant or genioplasty, would make a change you want. Only on the basis of in person evaluation, discussion about your goals and 3D simulation, appropriate plan of treatment can be created. Good luck.
