How closely can chin filler emulate a genioplasty?

Hi! I'm considering doing a genioplasty but thought to do chin filler before as a sort of look into the future before major surgery. I know I can advance forward, but with chin filler can I aesthetically advance vertically as well? I have a deep labial fold so I believe vertical advancement is important?

Very likely that combination of liposuction of neck and jawline with chin implant would be a good procedure in your case. You should discuss this option with your surgeon. If available, 3D simulation would help. Good luck.

It is very difficult to decide whether chin augmentation by means of implant or genioplasty, would make a change you want. Only on the basis of in person evaluation, discussion about your goals and 3D simulation, appropriate plan of treatment can be created. Good luck.

It appears that you would benefit from a sliding genioplasty or a chin implant. Either would work in your case as your chin is recessive in the horizontal dimension.

Extracting teeth would not change your chin recession and should not be done unless teeth must be removed for a health or dental reason. You could potentially be a candidate for jaw surgery, especially if your bite does not fit together, That being said, if you are looking for just a cosmetic...
